Saying "Thank You" Really, Really Well

September 27, 2016 4:38 PM

I've given blood off and on for years, but have become a bit more regular in doing so over the last couple of years.

It's always been a worthy thing to do, but part of the reason for now doing so more often is that I can now find and book appointments online (at www.blood.co.uk) which fits the way I work.

As a part of that you can sign up to receive text message reminders of appointments and so on, but esentially the service is as it has been for years: turn up for your appointment, donate, wait a few minutes over a drink and snack before leaving, leave. But on the last two donations, I've had a text message after I've donated like this one received today:

Blood donation thank you text message

Effective, a great thank you, and has made me log back on and book my next appointment. Whoever was responsible for putting this together: well done - it works for me.

If you don't donate blood currently and can do so, please consider it.
