Campaigners have been back to the High Court to force the Government to announce the change in its policy of Gurkha settlement which had been declared "unlawful" in court in September 2008.

The Government have been given until 24th April to announce the new policy, which campaigners hope will give the full right to citizenship to all ex-Gurkhas whenever they retired from the British Army.

Tim Prater commented:

"I was delighted my colleague and friend Dhan Gurung attended this hearing and we are all now hopeful that we will have good news by 24th April."
